1. Scope

These terms apply to the CAT-CH app and related website provided by the operator identified on this page. Please read these terms, the Refund Policy and the product description before purchasing. Purchases are also subject to the buyer terms presented by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record.

Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over these terms. These terms do not replace any consent or notice required by law. Optional analytics consent is separate from purchasing or using the app.

2. The product and system requirements

CAT-CH is a macOS clip shelf for collecting text, images, files and folders beside the Dock, then searching, copying or dragging them into other apps. Automatic collection, gestures, previews and cat customizations depend on the app version and license purchased.

The current app supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 26 or later. Check the latest product requirements before purchasing. Website sign-in, purchases, downloads and retrieving external web images require an internet connection. The installed app’s local shelf features do not require sign-in or online license checks.

3. Accounts and licenses

A valid purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive license to use CAT-CH for personal or internal business purposes within the scope of that purchase. It does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights in the app or cat artwork.

Website purchases and downloads use Google sign-in. Sign in with the Google account used for your purchase to access your purchase history and downloads. The current Mac app runs after installation without app sign-in, a license key or device activation.

You must not share, sell or transfer your account or license key to another person without authorization. Contact us about account changes or access issues. Unauthorized redistribution, resale, bypassing license checks and reverse engineering are prohibited, except as permitted by applicable law or separate open-source licenses.

4. Purchase options and updates

The licenses currently offered are one-time purchases, not automatically renewing subscriptions. The final price, tax, currency and included features are shown before payment.

The base license includes the cat collection supplied at purchase, bug fixes, security and performance improvements, and new utility features we release. A purchase including the Lifetime Cat Pass also includes future cats released for CAT-CH at no additional charge.

The Lifetime Cat Pass covers cats that are subsequently released. It does not promise a specific number of releases, a release schedule or indefinite operation of the service. This description does not reduce rights promised at purchase or mandatory obligations to supply updates.

We may provide updates and adjust features for compatibility, security and reliability. We will give advance notice of material changes to purchased core functionality or rights and respect remedies and refund rights required by law.

5. Payment and digital delivery

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, tax calculation, receipts and related merchant obligations. CAT-CH does not directly store full payment card numbers.

Once payment is confirmed, you receive a receipt and download instructions. Keep your receipt and purchase information safe. If delivery is delayed or your purchase information is incorrect, contact us with your order email and order number.

Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are described in the Refund Policy. A purchase that has ended through a refund no longer grants the corresponding license or download rights.

6. Your clips and files

Clip contents and saved file copies are stored on your Mac. CAT-CH is not a cloud synchronization or online backup service. Keep separate originals and backups of important material.

Ordinary file collection and dragging do not move or delete the original. Choosing to save a file copy creates a separate copy. Removing a shelf card does not automatically delete its saved copy; you must manage those files separately in the saved copies folder.

You are responsible for having the rights needed to store and use your material. You must not use CAT-CH to distribute unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, disrupt services or exploit security vulnerabilities.

7. Privacy and external services

The Privacy Policy explains website account, purchase and optional website analytics processing. Website analytics is off by default, and the current Mac app does not send usage analytics. Declining or withdrawing analytics consent does not prevent you from using purchased features.

Website Google sign-in, Lemon Squeezy checkout and external images you retrieve may also be subject to the relevant providers’ policies. Interruptions to those services can affect related features without excluding any responsibility we have under applicable law.

8. Restrictions and liability

We may restrict account or license access to the extent necessary for fraudulent payments, license sharing, security attacks or serious breaches of these terms. Unless urgent security or legal reasons prevent this, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us or contest the restriction.

We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation on every device or future operating system. To the extent permitted by law, liability may be limited for unforeseeable indirect losses or losses caused by improper use.

We do not exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, fraud, statutory conformity obligations, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Changes and contact

Updated terms will be posted here with their revision date. Material changes affecting existing users’ rights will be communicated before they apply, with separate consent where required by law. New terms will not be applied retroactively to reduce rights under completed purchases.
